SGE forte column range for almost any gas chromatography applications, provides the best possible combination of performance, robustness, reproducibility, low bleed and inertness.  Advanced technology ensures brilliant results every time. The most frequently chosen GC columns are listed below — other column configurations are available on request.

BP1 is a cross-linked (100% Dimethyl Polysiloxane) technology phase. It is an excellent general purpose non polar GC column. Suitable for the analysis of hydrocarbons, aromatics, pesticides, phenol, herbicides, amines. 320C-340C upper temperature limit depending on film thickness.

BPX1 is a non-polar dimensionally stabilized low bleed phase specifically designed for high temperature hydrocarbon analysis. Ideal for simulated distillation methods (ASTM D2887). 430C upper temperature limit for Aluminum Clad and 370C-400C for Polyimide clad.

Solgel-1ms is essentially a synthetic glass with ceramic-like properties packed with (100% Dimethyl Polysiloxane) non-polar phase for MS applications. It is a highly inert, robust and high temperature column recommended for highly active compounds. It offers better sensitivity. 340/360C upper temperature limit.

BPX5 is a general pupose (5% Phenyl Polysilphenylene-siloxane) column suitable for 80% of all routine analyses performed by GC. Very low bleed, extremely inert which makes it an ideal column for trace analysis and GC-MS applications. 360-370C upper temperature limit.

BP5MS is the newest optimized (5% Phenyl Polysilphenylene-siloxane) phase . This column is perfect for your 5% MS analysis. Non polar, 5% equivalence. Low bleed, great inertness. 330/350C upper temperature limit.

HT5 is a unique ultra high temperature (5% Phenyl Polycarborane-siloxane) bonded and cross-liked GC column ideal for simulated distillation applications (petroleum industry), general hydrocarbon profiles and pesticides/herbicides applications. 460/480C upper temperature limit for Aluminum clad and 380/400C for Polyimide clad.

HT8 is a unique high temperature, low bleed (8% Phenyl Polycarborane-siloxane) phase suited for the analysis of persistent organic pollutants (POPs). It is the preferred column for PCB compounds. This phase separates PCB's on ortho ring substitution as well as boiling point. 360/370C upper temperature limit.

BPX35 is a mid polarity (35% Phenyl Polysilphenylene-siloxane) bonded and cross-linked phase. It is ideal for confirmational analysis. It is equivalent to USP phase G42. 330/360C upper temperature limit.

BPX50 is a mid polarity (50% Phenyl Polysilphenylene-siloxane) bonded and cross-linked phase. It is a high temperature, low bleed column ideal for a range of EPA (PAH, pesticides) methods and pharmaceuticals (drug screening, steroids) applications. 330/350C upper temperature limit.

BPX70 is a polar phase (70% Cyanopropyl Polysilphenylene-siloxane) bonded and cross-linked phase. It is custom designed for the separation of FAMEs. This column offers a long operating life. 250/260C upper temperature limit.

BPX90 is a unique highly polar (90% Cyanopropyl Polysilphenylene-siloxane) bonded and cross-linked phase. It offers excellent resolution for cis and trans isomers. 260/280C upper temperature limit.

Solgel-WAX is a polyethylene glycol (PEG)phase in a Sol-Gel matrix. It is the highest temperature WAX phase available on the market. It is a very robust column recommended for highly active compounds. Ideal for glycols analysis. It is less susceptible to damage by oxygen than conventional WAX phases. 280/300C upper temperature limit.

BP20 (WAX) is an industry standard (Polyethylene Glycol) bonded and cross-linked polar phase ideal for alcohol, free acids, FAMEs, aromatics, solvents and essential oils. 240/280C upper temperature limit.

BP21 (FFAP) is a (nitroterephthalic modified PEG) bonded and cross-linked polar phase ideal for low molecular weight acids. 240/250C upper temperature limit.

BP10 (1701) is a (14% Cyanopropylphenyl Polysiloxane) bonded and cross-linked phase used for organochlorine pesticides analysis. 260/300C upper temperature limit.

BP225 is a (50% Cyanopropylphenyl Polysiloxane) bonded and cross-linked mid to high polar phase. It is suitable for FAMEs, carbohydrates and neutral sterols. 230/260C upper temperature limit.

BPX-Volatiles is a (Cyanopropylphenyl Polysiloxane) polar bonded and cross-linked phase. It is ideal for volatile organics, alcohol analysis, redisual solvents (USP G43). 290/300C upper temperature limit.
