ACME™ Direct Guard Columns

The ACME guard columns are packed with high purity ACME packing materials and provides great protection from the harmful effects of soluble contaminants on modern HPLC and UHPLC columns. 

  1. Female inlet/male outlet design provides ultra-low dispersion for UHPLC/HPLC columns
  2. Physically filters particulate material that leads to column inlet frit plugging
  3. Retains non-eluting compounds in a sample and reduces column fouling
  4. Compatible with all HPLC/UHPLC columns
  5. Available in in 5mm 10 mm lengths
  6. Available phase chemistries: C18, F5/C18, C8, CN, Phenyl, PLUS

Pre-injection filter: When used as pre-injection filter (5 mm x 4.6 mm ID, 5 µm), the ACME guard can filter out mobile phase impurities and debris that can prematurely shorten column life. It can be placed in-line prior to the injector it with no significant impact on column back pressure.
